Historian reviews life of Corbly
Often, genealogical researchers gloss over negative aspects to paint rosy, idealized portraits of their subjects. But a researcher from Erie reminded members of Cornerstone Genealogical Society this week that some of the most interesting stories are found in the darkest places. Katie Eichenlaub White, daughter of Cornerstone program Chairwoman Marilyn Eichenlaub, spoke at the group's May 10 meeting.
White is historian for descendants of the Rev. John Corbly. When she was a little girl, she listened with rapt attention to Nannie Fordyce's stories of their ancestors, and she wondered why some relatives were left out of the family lore. Fordyce, like most people, chose to concentrate on the good and leave out the not-so good.

The link given for the Full Story no longer works!
Is there some way I can access and read the whole article about Ms. White and her work on the Corbly family?
Thank you...
