Love Letters Part 1
A Siouxland man discovered a heart warming love story hidden inside the walls of his home. When Larry Untiet of Spencer, Iowa remodeled his home, he found a stack of love letters. While times may change they're a reminder that people stay the same.
The letters are dated from January 1921 to March of that same year. They were penned by Halbert Jenkins and addressed to the woman who stole his heart, Florence Kirkpatrick.
The Lost Love Letters of 1921...what a great story. Thanks for featuring it!

I'm inclined to think that men of the past are much more romantic than the men now. I honestly thought that before, it was so "unmanly" to show your emotions especially when you're a man. But these love letters... They offer a new perspective. And the love between them? It seemed genuine judging on the letters. There was a certain softness to his the writer's tone that made him seem so sincere. Did they end up together?
